Ibis Ghana has been working since 2001 in four focus areas: Organization Capacity Building, Local Governance, Education and the Structural Causes of Poverty.

Ibis Ghana is part of a larger Danish member-based development organization working at the global, national and local levels to create equal access to education, influence and resources for the poor and the marginalized people in Africa and Latin America.

The Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG) was established in Ghana in 2000 as an independent, not-for-profit policy research and advocacy organization whose mission is to generate knowledge and enhance the capacity of citizens to influence public policy choices in order to consolidate democracy and good governance in Ghana and the rest of Africa.
